Welcome to the Valley County Assessor’s temporary web site.  In an attempt to make the 2009 assessment cycle as helpful as can be, we have set up our 2009 Appeal packet on this site for your convenience. 

Please be advised that the appeal period starts when you receive your 2009 assessment notice and the last day to protest is the fourth Monday in June.  This year that is June 22^nd.  The appeals forms have to be returned to our office no later than 5 p.m., (Mtn. time) on the 22^nd of June.  We will not accept emailed protest forms.  Should you have a question you may email us at assessor@co.valley.id.us  We encourage you to email or call (208-382-7126) and speak with an appraiser for any questions you may have before you file an appeal.  The instructions with the protest form are intended to assist you, please read them carefully
