Mission
Provide quality customer service, and assist the public in locating County records.
Office Services
The Clerk of the District Court also serves as Auditor, Recorder and as Clerk of the Board of Commissioners.
The Recorder is primarily involved with recording documents related to property. Many types of licenses are available through our office, such as: Marriage, Liquor, Beer, Wine and Catering Permits.

County Auditors are responsible for issuing warrants, billing and maintaining an accurate accounting system for all departments.
Indigent Services are located here as well, offering financial support for some non-medical and medical assistance to those meeting specific criteria. Applicants will be subject to an interview and must provide adequate income sources to warrant need.
This office also provides copies of County contracts, levies, budgets and election information.
Recording Fees:
$10.00 first page and $3.00 per each additional page per document type. Exceptions are:
- Plats $11.00 each
- Records of Survey $5.00 per page
- Assessment Work (Mining) $4.00 for 1st claim and 50¢ for each additional claim.
- Marriage Licenses are $28.00
