Bear Knob closure update: 

Contractors will be working to install electrical and water hookups in the Bear Knob campground loop beginning Tuesday, June 16, through early August 2026. Please be aware of an increased potential for traffic and daytime noise.

Idaho Fish and Game has invested a significant amount of time and labor into improving Horsethief Reservoir Campground, and we're looking forward to these upgrades! Reach out to County Recreation staff with questions or concerns.
