The 2026 Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event:

Time: 9am - 6pm

TRAFFIC FLOW:

Traffic will only be accepted from East Lake Fork Road traveling West off of Farm to Market Road.  Anyone trying to access the traffic pattern from Highway 55 will need to travel down to Farm to Market Road to access the end of the line.  Every attempt will be made to get traffic off of the main roads and onto Valley County property to limit congestion. Our goal is to keep the roads free of traffic jams and process the line quickly!

NO COMMERCIAL WASTE WILL BE ACCEPTED

Accepted Items:

• Oil

• Antifreeze

• Fuel

• Aerosol cans

• Batteries

• Pesticides & herbicides

• Paint waste (water based & oil based)

• Bulbs

• Ballasts

• Mercury devices only (no jars of mercury)

• Electronic waste

• Chlorine tablets

Not Accepted:

• Tires

• Cylinders

• Smoke detector's

• Explosives

• Radioactive devices or material

• Asbestos

Container size limited to 5 gallons.

One exception: if used oil has been captured in 50-gallon drums, those may be accepted IF the drum is in very good to new condition. Drums that show a likelihood of leaking during transport will be rejected.
