Meet the Prosecutor

Brian Naugle serves as the elected Prosecuting Attorney for Valley County. Brian’s goals are to maintain a safe, prosperous community by holding violent criminals accountable while providing the opportunity for rehabilitation to those who commit crimes but exhibit a willingness to take responsibility for their actions and seek to better themselves.

Brian has lived in Idaho for 30 years, and is a graduate of Boise State University and the University of Idaho College of Law. For fifteen years, Brian served as a Deputy Prosecutor for the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, handling a wide range of cases and developing skills and knowledge in nearly every area of criminal prosecution.

Brian is involved in all aspects of the management of the prosecutor’s office. He oversees the civil and criminal divisions, providing guidance to his team on a wide range of topics. He works closely with law enforcement partners such as the Valley County Sheriff’s Office, McCall Police Department, Idaho Department of Fish & Game, and Idaho State Police. Brian credits his prosecution team and justice partners with enabling him to serve his community in such an important way.
