Road & Bridge Announcements

As of September 15, 2024, the Warm Lake Highway is back open to the public. No roadblocks, or pre-approval needed at this time. A big thanks to the West Mountain Fires crews for their hard work securing the road.

Due to recent rainfall making a significant impact on the fire and to the moisture content of the fuels, we are able to reduce and/or remove evacuation status to the Lava and Snag fires.  

• Zones 2 , 3, 4, 5 & 6 have been downgraded to ready.
• Zones 7-11 have been removed from any evacuation status.  

• Both Zones 1 and 2 (Warm Lake and Horsethief) have been removed from all evacuation status.
