November 3, 2020 General Election Sample Ballot: Sample Ballot
Elections Dates and Deadlines:
- No August 25 election for Valley County
- September 21 – Elections Clerk begins mailing Absentee Ballots
- October 9 – Last day to preregister to vote (election day registration available at the polls)
- October 19 – In-Person absentee voting begins 8am – 5pm (Valley County Clerks Office Only)
- October 23 – Last day to request an absentee ballot by mail
- October 30 – Last day for In-Person absentee voting
- November 3 – All absentee ballots must be received by the Valley County Clerk by 8pm.
- November 3 – Election Day Polls open 8am – 8pm

As of this date in person will be available for the November 3rd General Election. If you wish to vote absentee and have not yet requested an absentee ballot please follow the steps below:
1. Request your Absentee Ballot
You must request your ballot by October 23, 2020 in order to vote absentee. You can request your ballot online through the Secretary of State’s Office at idahovotes.gov. You can also contact our office for help by calling (208) 382-7103. Registered voters who do not request their ballot by filling out and submitting an absentee ballot request form by October 23, will NOT automatically be mailed a ballot.
Please note, you will need to be registered to vote to participate in the upcoming election. You can register online at idahovotes.gov.
- Request your absentee ballot online by October 23 at 5pm here: idahovotes.gov.
- You may also download an absentee ballot request form: Absentee Ballot Request
- Return your completed form no later than 5 pm on October 23rd:
- mail – Valley County Elections, PO Box 1350, Cascade Idaho 83611
- email – elections@co.valley.id.us
- submit in person to the Valley County Clerk 219 N. Main St. Cascade Idaho.
2. Wait for Your Ballot.
Once you’ve requested your ballot, give our team some time to process your request and drop your ballot in the mail.
You can track your ballot, and confirm your ballot request has been received, at idahovotes.gov.
3. Vote and Return Your Ballot.
As soon as you receive your ballot, vote and use the pre-addressed envelope to mail it back to us.
All ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on November 3, 2020 to be counted. Voters are encouraged to mail their ballots back to us as soon as possible.
